Much Dewchurch Fete & Companion Dog Show - 2008

What a fantastic day Sunday August 10th turned out to be - a glorious day - we managed to miss most of the weather - and a day that all who attended the Much Dewchurch Fete & Companion Dog Show at the Mynde Park in Much Dewchurch thoroughly enjoyed.

With plenty to see and do, from nearest the pin golf competition to a dog show and rides on a tractor and trailer around the Mynde Estate, from a fantastic Hog Roast to a second hand book stall, from rides in a Model A Ford to a visit from a Fire Engine,  the relaunched Much Dewchurch Fete came back to its roots at the Mynde Park.

By kind invitation of Audley & Caroline Twiston-Davies, the fete set itself up on the grounds between the Mynde and the lake, and despite the worst that the weather could throw at it over the two days prior to the fete, survived to provide the perfect setting for a memorable afternoon.

Much Dewchurch Society President Audley Twiston-Davies opens the Fete    Mr & Mrs George Holley    A prize winner at the Dog Show    Just look at the weather in the background!   2 stalwarts at the Dog Show     "Are you older than this car Sir?"    The Mynde in the background.   A young stall holder.   The President and his wife enjoy looking around the fete in style
